This is Bear, our German Shepherd.
He’s super sweet and smart. We adopted him shortly after adopting Caspian. He was basically given to us. He’s about a year and a half old now.
He enjoys mealtime, chasing squirrels and birds, and chewing on everything in sight.
With the amount of fur he sheds, you’d think we have 5 dogs.
Our almost 2 year old son adores him. And Bear is very patient with him.
We’re still in the training process but he knows ”sit” and “down” well.
He doesn’t care to be on a leash and isn’t good on walks. He wasn’t taught this before we adopted him so it’s a work in progress.
He was originally bred by a German Shepherd breeder near our home and was kept to be bred. The breeder wanted to downsize though which is why he almost gave him to us (We payed $75 for Bear).
Bear makes a great addition to our family and is definitely an Alpha Dog!
