We consider this type of collar a house collar and recommend using a martingale collar for taking walks since a pup could potentially slip out of this type of collar. We do have this desing in the martingale style.  Martingale collars are an alternative method to house collars, choke collars, and harnesses. They are safer collars to walk your dog as it prevents choking and escapes and are easier to put on then a harness.  We chose to use metal hardware and a buckle closure on this collar for added durability. Your furbaby's safety is our top priority!
