The martingale is considered a "humane choke collar". It does NOT choke
 your pup but instead distributes pressure evenly on the neck. When your dog pulls the collar tightens to a set amount and does not continue to tighten as he/she pulls. This feature prevents your dog's head from sliding out of the collar and also prevents internal damage to your dogs throat. Win Win!
 
Martingale collars are an alternative method to house collars, choke collars, and harnesses. They are safer then other types of collars when used properly and easier to put on then a harness.

-this type of collar does not have a buckle so you must slide it over the dogs head, then adjust to tighten or loosen on the neck. 
No buckle makes this collar more secure-strong dogs can't snap it. 
 
Available in small, medium, and large. The small is 1" in width while the medium and large are 1.5" in width.
 
The large size automatically comes with a matching leash- the medium size will switch to this in the future but the set is not currently available. 
 
Not for tie out use. Supervise dog while wearing this type of collar.
